The Path to Revival
June 22, 2017

For those who are unaware of all of the details regarding to the recent 50 day initiative of reviveTX, this post is a thought-through assessment of what transpired, what could have been, and what I believe needs to happen now.  To begin with, there were some 350 congregations in the […] [READ MORE]

The Millennium is Real
January 19, 2015

If we are going to understand the Millennium it has to become real to us, and no longer some idea in the Bible that seems odd, far off, and ethereal.  The Lord gave us many verses to help us see into the future of how life will really look and feel in the next age.  These passages describe daily living and the activities that will continue on into the 1000-year reign of Christ.  As we look at these verses, they provide us with some of the ground rules of how things will look that we are very much accustomed to when we think about life. The Long Awaited Moment of Christ’s Return
November 11, 2014

The long awaited moment of Christ’s return is imminent, and when He comes this present age will transition into a new age with Jesus as King over all.  In order to establish this new regime, Heaven is currently planning a military campaign to take over the planet and destroy everything that stands in the way of the Kingdom of God.  It will become clear to all mankind who this glorious King is; His thoughts, desires, and demands will all come to the surface, and all of the Earth that opposes Him will receive stern judgment.  He will powerfully reveal His true identity and violently display His majesty; all the things that were carefully veiled at His first coming.  His purpose is to claim His Bride, bring about justice in the nations, and claim His rightful inheritance; the Earth, and everything in it, is His. The Transition of the Age
October 11, 2014

Things are about to change.  In just a short period of time this present age will transition when Jesus comes.  When He does, He will establish what the Bible describes as a 1000-year rule where He will begin to lead the nations into righteousness and the fullness of the Great Commandment.  When Christ comes to Earth many elements of this current age will change, some will even be done away with entirely.  This will make for a time unlike anything creation has ever seen. Right now the kings of the Earth don’t give any thought to King Jesus, but there is soon coming a day when Jesus will be King on Earth as He has long been the King in Heaven.

The Great Injustice
July 6, 2014
Jesus’ worth is incomparable and immeasurable; He is glorious without match.  This means that He is due the highest praise and fullest measure of abandonment.  Our Great God is worthy of the deepest level of love expressed by 100% of the population of the Earth all praising Him night and day forever with no break, and more.  Anything less than this is a great injustice in light of who He is.  This of course is not the case hardly anywhere. Texas Secession - Questions We Should All be Asking
November 14, 2012
There are some important questions we should be asking about a Texas Secession. I don't know that I have answers to most of these questions yet, but I'm interested to see where things go and who arises with the answers.

Now this is Eternal Life
May 23, 2012
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (Jn. 17:3)."

I hear much debate over whether a person will inherit eternal life or not as if there were some ambiguity about the subject.  The discussion about whether a person will spend eternity in Heaven or eternity in Hell is really off subject; in fact it really misses the point entirely.  [READ MORE]

Revival in the Baptist World
February 23, 2012

I had a most unusual and encouraging experience the Arlington pastors luncheon we heard from a man who carries a true burden for revival.  Bill Elliff of Little Rock AR, a Baptist pastor (in his late fifties I'd guess) presented the most provoking exhortation on revival I have ever heard in evangelical circles.  He is launching a prayer initiative called One Voice that I'd encourage all of you to go check out ( [READ MORE]

Friendship With God
February 7, 2012

What about Abraham made him to be called God's friend (2Ch. 20:7; Jm. 2:23)?  I want to be God's friend. Whatever that relationship looked like I want it. [READ MORE]

Calling Americans to Wholeheartedness
February 6, 2012

Lord, help me to call Americans to wholeheartedness, to a version of following you that makes the angels pay attention.  I pray that The Prayer Room would be a place that provokes people in their walk with God, where people would find you and give themselves wholly to you.  I pray that you allow the fragrance of what we present as normal Christianity to be a sweet smell to the new believer and to the bored church goer.  I want this ministry first of all to be a pleasing fragrance to you and secondly to be a powerful force in drawing Americans into wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ. "Occupy Our Street"
October 20, 2011
No, not another demonstration with all the marks of fulfilling a widespread internet prophecy.  A prayer.  While the the world around us "falls" the people of God should "bow."  Our response to the current stirrings of anger in the marketplace isn't fear or intrigue its intercession -Lord come "Occupy Our Street." The Only Process
October 14, 2011
Every nation is in crisis.  America is in Crisis.  Overturning the rightful judgment of God for the increasingly sinful state of America cannot be treated lightly.  We aren’t dealing with a person who can be bought off or convinced to look the other way. [READ MORE]

God Bring an Awakening
September 4, 2011

I'm ready for an awakening here in our city.  There is so much about our Christianity that is nominal.  I know God desires to see our hearts set ablaze and that we all long for a move of His Spirit where our dead hearts would be made alive. [READ MORE]

Raising a Community to Take Care of this City
September 3, 2011

I'm weighted with the sober reality that trouble is soon coming to our nation, which incidentally means that it's coming to my city.  I'm hit with the reality that God leaves so much in the hands of the saints to deal with and steward.  The revelation hit me that I am helping to raise a community of people who will in many ways take care of this city at it's lowest point in the coming days.  It is a season to prepare for whats on the horizon. Where Have All the Cowboys Gone? - The Calling Forth of Forerunners
August 9, 2011

There is coming a time when everyone will know that God is real, atheism will be far from the thoughts of mankind.  During this timeframe, while the existence of God will be universally known men will choose by and large to worship Satan instead.  [READ MORE]

A Time to Tear Down and a Time to Build
September 27, 2010
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD's house to be built.' " Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai: "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin (Hg. 1:2-4)?” [READ MORE]

Studies in Revelation
September 25, 2010
I believe that when “the sky is rolled back like a scroll” in Revelation 6:14 it remains rolled back for the duration of the events of Revelation.  That is that whatever this rolling back looks like it is not ever unrolled and so this event would leave an open window into Heaven thus allowing the inhabitants of the Earth to see what transpires there. I realized something this morning about myself that made me make a lot of sense to me.  After struggling with so many things in my heart and working through motives and emotions I came to a very freeing revelation...

The Tabernacle of David
July 13, 2010

Quote from Jamie Pridgen IHOP ATL “In 70 AD, the Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Roman army. In that moment, worship in the order of Moses, as required by Torah, could not be observed.  The only Biblical way to worship the Lord from that point on was through […] [READ MORE]
